8 July – Election Update
With tomorrow being Cooling-off Day, today marked a rather uneventful end to campaigning. RDU released its Green Charter. And, PAP’s Chan Chun Sing responds to audio clips circulating online.
7 July – Election Update
PV releases its manifesto, 4 days before polling day. PSP Sec-Gen Tan Cheng Bock says police reports against WP’s Raeesah Khan are “gutter politics”. And, RP rebutted by IMDA after the former claimed it was not given sufficient notice for its constituency political broadcast.
6 July – Election Update
WP’s Raeesah Khan apologises for online comments, will cooperate with investigations. PAP asks WP to make clear its stand on Khan. PAP’s Hougang candidate accused of stealing credit for WP-implemented upgrading programmes.
5 July – Election Update
More POFMA orders, this time for a claim related to the issue of “10 million population”. AWARE criticises PAP press release for being “insensitive” to victims of domestic abuse. And, a nice moment between opponents even as campaigning heats up.

Manpower Ministry cites 2019 figures to rebut claims on 2020 PMET unemployment. Independent, Cheang Peng Wah, begins campaigning in Pioneer under a horse electoral logo. And PSP’s Tan Cheng Bock says he will reject any NCMP seat.
1 July – Election Update
RP release manifesto supplement, “Green Manifesto”. PSP lodges police report after posters torn down in Chua Chu Kang. Hwa Chong tells students not to post GE-related content.
30 June (Nomination Day) – Election Update
All seats to be contested, only two three-corner fights. SDA and NSP release manifestos, SDA wants to cut GST to 3% for basic goods. Lee Hsien Yang not running in GE2020.
29 June – Election Update
Tomorrow is Nomination Day. PSP and RDU release manifestos, include POFMA and CECA reviews. PAP MP, Indranee Rajah, says no need to vote opposition because NCMP scheme exists.
